With 26 sessions scheduled across the United States in 2008, we are offering more training opportunities than ever. Our full-day, hands-on sessions allow you to follow along on your own computer and get a feel for exactly how the software can improve workflow and give you a competitive advantage. Each daylong session is broken into two segments: one designed for beginners and one for more advanced users. However, new StyleADVISOR users are encouraged to attend both sessions in order to obtain a full scope of the product. Below is the 2008 regional training schedule. Training sessions are free to authorized StyleADVISOR users, but you must pre-register for the course.* To register, simply click on the “Register” link beside the session you’d like to attend. * Registered Participants that are “no-shows” or do not cancel their registration less than 7 days prior to their session are subject to a $500 cancellation fee.

Beginning Training Sessions (8:30am - 12:00pm)

The beginning session introduces StyleADVISOR and AllocationADVISOR to someone who has had little to no hands-on experience with the programs. The focus is on navigating through the system and understanding the analysis. At the end of the session the user should be able to perform a basic manager analysis, understand the results, and then customize the report to their liking.

Advanced Training Sessions (1:00pm - 4:00pm)

The advanced session is intended for those who are comfortable with StyleADVISOR and AllocationADVISOR and are looking to take their use above and beyond the basic, off-the-shelf analysis. Topics include the academic underpinnings of Returns-Based Style Analysis, advanced chart editing, manager searches, automation of reporting, and an open question session.
